We design and handcraft fully bespoke kitchens from our workshop in Farnham, Surrey. Using traditional joinery techniques, exceptional materials and a deeply personal approach, we create kitchens that are built to last, in quality, in craftsmanship and in character.
Every kitchen we make is unique. There are no off-the-shelf designs, no predefined styles and no compromises. Just a kitchen made entirely around you.

Cabinetry from £25,000
Our kitchen collections offer a starting point for clients who have a clear sense of style. Whether you are drawn to a clean modern aesthetic, a timeless in-frame Shaker design or something altogether different, we build every cabinet by hand in our Surrey workshop using only the finest materials, including solid oak, tulipwood and A grade MDF.
Each piece is made to fit your space precisely, finished in any colour you choose, including bespoke matches from Farrow & Ball and other leading paint brands.

For clients who want every detail to be completely their own, our fully bespoke service gives you the freedom to design without limits. Our team works closely with you from the very first conversation, tailoring every element, including layout, materials, finishes, hardware and storage, to your home and your life.
No two bespoke kitchens are the same. That is the point.
Before production begins, we send you a sample door for approval. And if you would like to see your kitchen taking shape, you are always welcome to visit our workshop in Surrey.

Our Process
Initial Contact
Ideally, we take anything from a few minutes to a few hours of your time for an initial debrief on your project, either in person or in store. To understand your vision and show you how we work. Everyone starts from a different point, so it’s very helpful to understand your desired approach and how this might interplay with our standard process. We are happy to follow orders or take the lead on the design of a project. Either option (and the middle ground) is workable!
Design & Quote
Around one week later, we arrange a follow-up online consultation and we will present an Auto-CAD design and a quote based on our initial conversation. We will then take on board your feedback. This phase is free of charge.
Re-design & Re-quote
Depending on the outcomes of our previous conversations, we would supply you with an updated version of the design and quote. We will repeat this step until we have landed on the perfect design for your kitchen! This phase is still free of charge.
The Purchase
We will send you an invoice for a deposit payment once everything has been agreed. This includes all design aspects, including paint colour and appliance choices. A second payment is due on arrival of your kitchen, and a third once the installation is complete.
Lead Times & Install
The current lead time from the date of deposit payment is three months. We love fitting our own kitchens and are very happy to do so. However, we do also understand that some of our customers have a pre-existing agreement with a kitchen fitter and that is also fine. We would provide them with a full set of drawings and always be on the phone for questions to help make the installation process as efficient and stress-free for you as possible.
How it Works
Initial Consultation
Everything begins with a conversation. We will take the time to understand your vision, explore your space and show you how we work. Whether you have detailed architectural drawings or simply an idea in mind, we are happy to meet you wherever you are in the process.
We offer consultations at our Farnham showroom, where you can see our craftsmanship up close, handle our materials and get a real sense of what a Lucas Grant kitchen looks and feels like.
Design and Quote
Within around a week of your initial consultation, we present a detailed kitchen design and a clear, transparent quote. We listen carefully to your feedback and refine the design until it is exactly right. This stage is entirely free of charge.
Finalising Your Design
Once you are happy with the design, we work through every last detail together, including colour, finishes, hardware, appliances and layout. We do not move to production until every decision feels right to you.
Your Deposit and Production Begin
When you are ready to proceed, we issue a deposit invoice and your kitchen enters our production schedule. Our current lead time from deposit to delivery is approximately three to four months. Throughout this time, your dedicated project manager keeps you informed at every stage.
Your Kitchen, Installed
We handle the installation ourselves, with the same care and precision that goes into every kitchen we build. Your final payments are tied to delivery and completion, so you always feel in control of the process.
